TAD – Temporary Anchoring Systems
When standard braces aren’t enough, we rely on TAD systems (Temporary Anchorage Devices)—small, temporary anchors that enable precise tooth movements that would otherwise be impossible. Whether it’s a distal slider, mesial slider, or Hybrid Hyrax, these specialized systems give us maximum control in difficult cases such as large tooth gaps, extreme overbites, or complex jaw misalignments. TAD systems are removed after treatment—hence the name “temporary.” They are particularly valuable when we need to achieve tooth movements that would otherwise require headgearortooth extractions. Using digital planning, we optimize every millimeter to ensure predictable results.
Why?
Maximum Control & Precision
TAD systems provide us with precise anchoring—for movements that are difficult to achieve using traditional methods.
Temporary & reversible
The anchor is removed after treatment—without causing any permanent changes to your teeth.
Avoiding Alternatives
We can often avoid more invasive procedures and still achieve your goal with precision.
